Welcome

Whether you are already a member of our school community, a potential member, or browsing out of curiosity, I hope that you enjoy the information offered.  St Columba’s is a great community school, made so by a strong focus on educating the whole person and a tradition that spans many years.

While we enjoy a lovely school setting close to the heart of Newcastle, I believe our appeal as a school rests in our strong sense of community, the values we celebrate and providing a balanced education that addresses the academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of our students’ lives.

It is my hope that you might visit us and tour the school, so that you can see for yourself why it is that St Columba’s School has become well-known in the area as a place of quality education.

St Columba’s School Adamstown offers education to boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6. You will discover a curriculum that is enhanced by a number of additional programs and services. More importantly you will find a school with warmth that reflects Gospel values and actively promotes partnership with parents.

St Columba’s Primary School recognises the traditional owners of the area, the Awabakal people.
